Behavioral Health LED Downlight
Behavioral health facilities provide treatment to patients struggling with behavioral health issues that range from psychological to physical. These challenges can impact the individuals in numerous ways and treatment facilities must be designed to provide a safe and effective setting for treatment. Lighting in these facilities must adhere to stringent specifications pertaining to fixture construction, installation and light quality.
Light fixtures in mental health treatment and residential buildings must comply with standards related to dimming requirements, lens and housing durability, tamper resistance, gapless installation among others. The VL-FGRS-BH-LED is a recessed 6” aperture LED downlight that is sealed for behavioral health treatment and residential operations.
The downlight can be configured with LEDs that are available in several lumen configurations as well as 80 & 90 CRI. It can also provide up to 3400 Lumens with an integrated heatsink to maintain thermal efficiency and prolong the life of the light engine. The fixture is ETL Listed for Wet Locations and IP-65 dust and water jet resistance.
