Product Details

Hazardous location lighting must comply with rigorous OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and NEC (National Electric Code) standards.  Light fixtures located in a hazardous location are exposed flammable vapors and liquids where the potential for combustion is possible. Electrical devices in these environments, including luminaires, must be designed for resistance to corrosive elements, flammable vapors and other combustible materials.

The KURTZON™ TLX12-FGS-FLUOR utilizes a one piece, hole free, robotically seam welded housing that has flattened, silicone sealed knockouts for a superior seal. The lens is a high durability .135” thick virgin acrylic with P12 prismatic pattern inverted that is sealed to door with NSF listed RTV silicone. The fixture is suitable for Grid and Flanged installation and accommodates 1” and 1.5” T-Bar grids.

The luminaire is listed for Class I Division II Groups A, B, C & D hazardous locations, IP65 rated for dust and water ingress and suitable for 1700 PSI high pressure hose downs. It is also ETL listed per UL_1598 for wet locations, Chicago Plenum Rated and certified for the following; ISO-14644-1 for class 3 through class 9 clean spaces, Fed Std 209E for Class 100 through Class 100,000 cleans paces and NSF2 Listed for Non-Food Zones.
