Clean Manufacturing
Engineered For Photosensitive Manufacturing
KURTZON™ clean manufacturing luminaires are engineered for use in production environments that have to consider process control, cleanliness, durability, and dependable illumination. These directly influence output quality. We do not approach these spaces as standard industrial applications; we develop luminaires for facilities where particulate control, sealed construction, and maintainable performance are part of the manufacturing process.
In electronics, aerospace, laboratory, precision assembly, and other controlled manufacturing environments, lighting must do more than deliver footcandles. Luminaire design affects how the space is cleaned, how the ceiling system is maintained, and how well the fixture supports environments where airborne particulates, moisture, or process sensitivity make ordinary industrial lighting a poor fit.
Clean manufacturing lighting should be evaluated on more than light output alone. Sealed housings, smooth cleanable surfaces, ingress protection, mounting strategy, service access, and compatibility with the room’s airflow and cleaning protocol all affect whether the luminaire supports the manufacturing environment over time. Our approach is supported by documented performance characteristics such as suitability for ISO 3-9 clean spaces, ETL wet-location listings, IP65 or IP66 ingress protection, Chicago Plenum ratings, and high-pressure hose-down resistance.
